Direct Relief

Direct Relief is a nonprofit humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical assistance and disaster relief in the United States and internationally. Their mission is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies—without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. Fisher House Foundation

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is recovering in the hospital. Best Defense Foundation

The Best Defense Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of veterans with archive, transition, and battlefield return programs. All programs work to help veterans remember their fallen comrades, gain closure, and form communities. The Pelican for Patriots program offers a complimentary Protector Case to the men and women who served in the United States, Canadian, Australian or British military in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and sacrificed a limb while protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Excelling in environments ranging from the battlefield to the job site, the Pelican Protector Case is designed to protect and transport valuable prosthetics. Navy Seal Foundation

Pelican is proud to be a sponsor of the Navy SEAL Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support to the Naval Special Warfare community and its families. Since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the demand for Special Operations Forces has greatly expanded. National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honors and remembers America’s fallen fire heroes by providing resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives, and work within the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries. World Blood Donor Day Blood Drive

World Blood Donor Day

Pelican holds annual blood drive events at its various locations in honor of World Blood Donor Day. This multi-day community service event contributes to saving hundreds of lives and provides employees with the opportunity to give back.

Adopt-A-Family

Pelican Products’ South Deerfield location partnered with Westover Air Force Base in their Adopt-A-Family program in 2017. This partnership underscores Pelican’s commitment to giving back to our community and helping families in need. Pelican was happy to donate nearly 100 gifts and additional funds to purchase more gifts; plus collecting mittens, hats and scarves for the kids for winter. 1736 Family Crisis Center

Pelican’s corporate headquarters in Torrance, CA donates to families in need through partnership with the 1736 Family Crisis Center. This center is a local charity responding to the growing needs of victims of domestic violence, runaway and homeless youth, victims of human trafficking, homeless families, homeless and at-risk Veterans, unemployed adults and youth, and other low-income community members in need of assistance. 1736familycrisiscenter.org.

Surfrider Foundation Beach Cleanup

The South Bay Chapter of Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. Pelican employees, family, and friends join the foundation for various cleanup events to reduce litter and raise awareness about waste and plastic pollution in our oceans. Surfrider is represented by over 50,000 members and approximately 80 local chapters in the US, plus multiple international locations. surfrider.org

Rainbow Services

Rainbow Services is a charity local to Pelican’s California headquarters committed to providing shelter and support to anyone impacted by domestic violence, empowering them to move beyond trauma, and towards stability and safety. Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. They believe that affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Pelican proudly supports Habitat for Humanity through product, monetary, furniture, and building supply donations to help families in need. habitat.org.

Human I-T

Human I-T is an innovative organization dedicated to creating equitable access to opportunity by providing devices, internet access, digital skills training, and tech support for communities left on the wrong side of the digital divide. They also empower businesses and organizations to do good by diverting technology from landfills and protect our planet. Multiple Pelican locations have partnered with Human I-T to donate company and employee e-waste to help them continue their mission. To date, Pelican has diverted over 11,000 pounds of e-waste from landfills with the help of Human I-T. human-i-t.org.
