Answering the high demand for a long PelicanTM Air case, Pelican Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-impact protective cases and advanced portable lighting, has introduced the PelicanTM Air 1745 Long Case.
Now customers can protect their long equipment in a case line that is up to 40% lighter than other polymer cases. The 1745 Pelican Air Case (Interior: 44” x 16.77” x 8”) boasts more than 5,900 square inches, making it the deepest Pelican long case. Its form factor was developed to protect all manner of long equipment, like survey equipment and firearms, in the harshest environments. It is also the first PelicanTM Air case to feature extremely tough Press and Pull latches that lock automatically, but open with a light touch.
“Since we introduced the Pelican Air series over two years ago, customers have demanded a long form factor in the Pelican Air case line,” said John Luna, Director of Product Management, Commercial/Government Products. “We heard their feedback and, in response, are pleased to introduce an extraordinarily tough and lightweight long case worthy of the Pelican name.”
The 1745 Air case features an automatic purge valve, super-light proprietary HPX2TM Polymer, quiet rolling stainless-steel bearing wheels and a watertight O-ring gasket. This case passes the same performance tests (impact, drop, submersion, high and low temperature) endured by other Pelican case lines, ensuring that Pelican users can have 100% confidence in its protection. It is backed by the company’s legendary lifetime guarantee of excellence.
The PelicanTM Air 1745 Long Case starts at MSRP $323.95 and is available in two configurations - Pelican’s classic Pick N’ PluckTM Foam or with No Foam. With the addition of the 1745, the Pelican Air Case line expands to 10 different case sizes. With lightness built into every facet of the design without compromising Pelican’s renowned durability, Pelican Air Cases are the lightest protective cases on the market today.
