Pelican Appoints Stephan Corti as President of Its Commercial and Government Division

Torrance, CA -

Pelican Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance protective case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems, has promoted Stephan Corti to President of their newly structured traditional Commercial and Government Division. Pelican is organizing into three distinct business units:

• Traditional Commercial (Industrial, Fire Safety, Law Enforcement) and Government Division
• Newly established Consumer Division, focusing on the Pelican ProGear™ product line as well as the consumer electronics, sporting goods, photo and dive markets
• Pelican BioThermal™ division, focused on temperature controlled transportation products and services

Corti brings more than 20 years of international sales and marketing management experience to his new role. Prior to his promotion, he served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Pelican. Before joining Pelican he was Technicolor's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing after being promoted from the same position in Europe. Additionally, his experience includes several executive sales positions with international companies including Nimbus, Allied Signal and HILTI.

Corti is fluent in English, French, Italian and German and holds an advanced degree from the Harvard Business School (Executive Education Program), an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business and a Ph.D. and Masters from the Universite de Nice-Sophia Antipolis.
