Pelican Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification at its Australia Manufacturing Facility

Pelican Products, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of multi-use products for aerospace companies, military personnel, first responders and outdoor enthusiasts, demonstrates continued technical excellence with ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Australia manufacturing facility. The Australia facility joins nine Pelican locations worldwide that already hold this certification, including three Advanced Case Centers.

ISO 9001:2015 certification is a multi-year process that ends in auditing business practices to ensure they meet internationally recognized principles and standards. To achieve these standards, a company must demonstrate consistent technical competency, as well as implement quality systems that integrate process improvement and assure conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. These independently assessed standards are used to confirm and recognize the competency, impartiality and consistent operation of facilities worldwide.

For more than 45 years, Pelican has perfected injection molding, roto-molding and robotic assembly processes that consistently deliver high quality cases. Pelican’s Australian facility produces over 500 standard off-the-shelf case sizes, plus an infinite number of bespoke sizes. The production process is focused on reducing shock and vibrations inside the cases to provide maximum protection to the payloads. The plant features cutting-edge roto-mold technology and CNC Waterjet cutting machinery.
