What motivates you in the morning?

More recently, my daughter, Zyan Everee who was born on Leap Year this year! Waking up to her smiling face before I leave for work is all I need to motivate me for the day.

What is your mantra for when things are tough?

“Only you think it’s hard. Only you can make it easy”

If you could do anything else, what would it be and why?

Be a tour guide of a travel company. The travelers would always have someone to take their photo (:

Describe your best moment ever.

Early in my career, driving down the highway about 3 hours from my house to look up and see my photo on a billboard. That was a humbling experience.

How did you get into your profession?

Graduated with a Graphic Design and Marketing degree and got tired of seeing the worse photos for me to use in the magazine and advertisement layouts. So I opted to shoot my own photos to use and the rest was history.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Be your best when no one is looking.

What are your top three Pelican products?

Pelican 1510. It has traveled with me to 37 countries and has been submerged in water and to the top of 17,000ft. This primarily stores my camera kit.
Pelican 1700. This case is used when I travel for firearm related photoshoots. Most of the time on these trips, I get training time with the instructors. The 1700 holds my 10.5” SBR, plate carrier, handgun and battle belt and sometimes my tripod.
Pelican 1740. The Tank. This is a mainstay in my trunk of the 4Runner. My 3day go bag, roadside emergency kit, “now” an extra baby blowout kit and my hammock all fit in there with room to space. The 1740 fits flush between the wheel well in the trunk.
