Pelican Products announces Jennifer Keefe as Chief Legal Officer

Torrance, CA -

Pelican Products Inc., the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance protective cases, temperature-controlled packaging systems, lighting systems, and rugged outdoor gear, announces Jennifer Keefe as Chief Legal Officer.

In her role, Keefe is responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives primarily pertaining to corporate governance, complex business transactions, intellectual property, litigation case management, and regulatory compliance. She will also provide key advice on effective company strategies and their implementation, legal risk management, and the negotiation of critical contracts.

“Jennifer has 25 years of diverse experience in corporate law and governance and is well versed in how businesses operate with financial acumen” says CEO Phil Gyori. “She has been invaluable as our interim general counsel, and we are excited to have her on board as Chief Legal Officer while Pelican continues to increase our global presence.”

Keefe most recently served as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for Allied BioScience, Inc. where she provided strategic counsel on a broad range of legal, business, operational, crisis management, compliance, and litigation matters. Prior to that, Keefe served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary at FTS international, Inc. and was a partner at the international law firm of Squire Patton Boggs LLP.

Keefe holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Vanderbilt University. She is also a member of the NYSE Board Advisory Council and serves as a board member for the Texas General Counsel Forum.
