Pelican Appoints New Chief Operating Officer Kevin Miniard

Torrance, CA -

Kevin Miniard has joined the Pelican Products, Inc. team as Chief Operating Officer. Miniard is tasked with overseeing operations on a global scale, including supply chain management, procurement, production, forecasting and planning, manufacturing engineering, inventory management, quality assurance and environmental health and safety.

As COO, Kevin will lead and drive the continuous improvement of productivity, quality, and efficiency for Pelican’s worldwide operations and will introduce new production controls and improvements, along with increased automation to drive and improve Pelican’s competitive edge.

Kevin is a passionate leader who drives performance by developing and implementing long-term strategies focused on value creation, building strong global leadership teams and driving accountability to overachieve established goals. He is a commanding communicator who establishes a high level of trust and collaboration with team members, customers, co-workers, board members and shareholders. Kevin possesses extensive global experience, leading teams across multiple cultures, locations and disciplines.

Prior to joining Pelican, Kevin held high level operations positions at ASC Airtex, Remington Outdoor Corporation, Daimler-Chrysler Corporation, Ford Motor Company and Toyota

Miniard holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Science from Eastern Kentucky University.
