In his wide-ranging responsibilities as Vice President of Worldwide Security, Tucker pulls from more than 30 years of law enforcement experience to ensure the security of Pelican’s employees, visitors, facilities and assets across the globe.
Initially brought on to handle security at Pelican’s corporate headquarters in Torrance, Tucker’s responsibilities grew to include the implementation of security measures in all Pelican locations throughout the world.
Tucker is responsible for overseeing business continuity planning, loss and fraud/counterfeit prevention as well as the protection of Pelican’s intellectual property and privacy. He continues to identify organizational protection goals and objectives, ensuring they are consistent with Pelican’s strategic plans.
Additionally, he has implemented key data security and workplace violence awareness/prevention programs, and maintains relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and government related agencies.
He also spearheads security breach and counterfeit import investigations. Additional responsibilities include the creation and organization of Pelican’s crisis management program, emergency procedures and incident responses.
Tucker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from California State University Long Beach.
