It's one of the best that I had. Used to be a maglight user. Now I can get a light with twice as much lights and almost instructable. It's one of the brightest lights i have ever owned.

Question: Is the beam adjustable? Will the lens zoom.

Answer: The beam on the 7000 is not adjustable but prefixed. However, the beam does provide a concentrated center along with a very generous spill (wide angle) array of light. Additionally, there are 3 light levels that are available which support both close up and distant uses.

Question: Where do i install the batteries?

Answer: The batteries for the 7000 are installed through the rear of the light. First the tail switch needs to be unscrewed which will reveal the battery compartment. The 2 CR123 lithium batteries can be inserted directly (positive end forward) or they can be inserted into the battery canister which will provide a proper fit. To install the batteries into the battery canister, first remove the end cap of the canister by prying it, then install the batteries and replace the end cap.

Question: Does this unit accept 18650 Rechargeable Batteries, or 16670 Batteries?

Answer: Yes the 7000 is supported by a rechargeable lithium ion battery (18650) and charger kit, model # 2386. Additional rechargeable batteries only are also available, model # 2389.

Question: What are the dimensions of this light including the head and body diameter and the length?

Answer: The length is 5.31", the body diameter is 1.00" and the head diameter is 1.28".
