TESTED AND PROVEN: THE CANADIAN M.O.B. PROGRAM

MULTI-OPERATIONS BOX TEST REQUIREMENTS:
STANAG 4280
DEFSTAN 81-41
MIL-SPEC 4150J
Ingress Protection (IP) Rating

When Canadian troops returned from duty in the Middle East, their gear arrived damaged from the presence of unwanted moisture. This moisture caused incidence of weapon corrosion as well as rot and mold in uniforms and other textile and metal gear. As a result, in 2007 the Canadian Forces issued a customized Pelican Case to every soldier in the Canadian Forces to transport personal and military-issued equipment. Pelican’s design and technology team worked closely with the Canadian Forces to satisfy their unique requirements. The result is the Multi-Operations Box (M.O.B.). With more than 8,250 cubic inches of usable storage space, the 1630 MO B is ideal for safely transporting and protecting operational and follow-on equipment including the standard Canadian Forces C7-A2 military issue rifle, which stows inside the case without the need for complete weapon breakdown.

mold valve
Moisture is your enemy in the battle against mold. A watertight Pelican Case
is your ally against this unwanted element, keeping your gear protected. An automatic
purge valve equalizes pressure without compromising the watertight seal.
