Published January 13, 2010

Torrance, CA -

After months of work and planning, the Discovery Channel Show “How Stuff is Made” (recently renamed “Factory Made”) is airing how Pelican Products are made in two segments on two episodes.

Pelican factory staff worked with a Discovery Channel film crew for two days capturing every minute detail of how our amazing products are made. The result is a great glimpse at the processes that maintain the legendary Pelican product quality.

Some of you might have seen the Pelican logo in the “Factory Made” commercials. This is a result of a massive branding effort executed by Operations and the Marketing Department to ensure that our logo is seen in all aspects of the segment.

When: Two shows, both set to air on Wednesday, January 13th. Air times vary by cable system. Please search for the following episode numbers:

  • Episode 8 – Featuring the 0450 Tool Chest – Guide Listing: Episode 8 marbles, water filters, a toolbox and packing foam.
  • Episode 10 – Featuring the 2410PL – Guide Listing: Episode 10 - hockey sticks, flashlights, insulated windows and school bus seats.
