I found your site googling for survival/prepper sites and I like yours. If you want to post an article on my Hill Country Preppers Network, I would be honored. I just built the site a couple of weeks ago and have been working my butt off on it. - Jerry Davis, HCPN.

Ty, thanks for the comment and great tip. Staying on well established trails is a really good idea in Copperhead country. Their camouflage makes them virtually impossible to see in the leaf litter of the forest floor, but well worn trails don't usually have a lot of leaf litter on them... so the Copperheads usually don't sit on those trails for long.

Great info Jay. My biggest worry with snakes is copperheads. Those dudes are invisible on a forest floor littered with dead leaves. I guess my biggest tip is to stay on well established paths when possible where it's easier to see any snakes.

If you want to protect your family from harmful water-borne diseases
and bacteria and viruses present in drinking water then employing a water purifier would be a good decision.

There are many models to choose from and you have a wide range of prices too
that will help you choose one. Eight times out of
10 your water filtration system will filter a water that has
already been ozoned.
