The Perfect Fit: What You Need to Know About Our Case Calculator
Here at Pelican, we continue to develop a wide range of case sizes, regardless of the application. Our cases protect an incredible range of items from iPods, tablet computers and laptop to Stinger missiles. With such a vast number of different cases available to you, you might be asking yourself, ”How do I know which case is right for my gear?”
The answer is quite simple. With the Pelican Case Calculator you have case size suggestions right at your fingertips.
Single Item. Getting a measurement for a single item couldn’t be easier. Simply measure the length, width, and depth of the item rounded up to the nearest inch. We recommend you add, at minimum, an extra inch in all directions. This will provide extra protection for your items. Once you have the measurements, go to the case calculator. Select the length, width, and depth from the drop down menus and click SEARCH. A list of suggested case sizes will be provided.
Multiple items. Position multiple items in the desired pattern and be sure to leave 1 to 4 inches of space between each item for protection. When finished with the first step one, take measurements of the group as a whole. Measure the length of the furthest item to the left, right, bottom and top. You’ll also need the depth (or height) of the deepest item. Enter those measurements into the Pelican Case Calculator.
