Pelican's Vice President of International Business, Scott Ermeti, Appointed To Aerospace Industry Trade Advisory Committee

Pelican Product’s Vice President of International Business, Scott Ermeti, was recently appointed by United States Secretary of Commerce, Gary Locke as a member of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Aerospace Equipment (ITAC 1).

The ITAC 1 is comprised of representatives from a broad cross-section of the aerospace sector which includes trade associations as well as aviation vehicle and equipment manufacturers. Its mission is to advise the Department of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative on international trade policy and other related matters.

Committee members serve as advisors on a wide range of issues including; Foreign government Airbus subsidies, the U.S. Commerce Department’s Manufacturing Initiative, and U.S. export licensing restrictions. They also perform advisory functions relevant to U.S. trade policy as requested by the Secretary and the USTR.

As Vice President of International Business at Pelican Products, Ermeti’s day-to-day responsibilities support the effective global execution of the company’s diverse strategies. He is responsible for the direction of Pelican’s global sales and new business initiatives that support an aggressive growth agenda and exponential global sales increases.
